Automotive Sales Consultant

Frontier Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Smithers is expanding our Automotive Sales Force and have an immediate opening for an Automotive Sales Consultant.

Here is what we are looking for in you;

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and verbal
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • A general understanding of vehicle and how they work
  • Excellent ability to work with our clients and gauge their product needs
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a good post sale relationship
  • Experience is not necessary but may be considered an asset. We are willing to train the right person to fit in with our team

What you can expect to do on a daily basis;

  • Continuous Training in Sales and Product
  • Intercept customers on the lot and in the sales showroom to better assist them
  • Meet, greet and build rapport with customers
  • Identify clients needs through interviewing
  • Educate customers on our complete line of vehicles both new and used
  • Offer alternative options to customer based on information gathered
  • Demonstrate features and functions of all types of vehicles
  • Gather required documentation and identification from customers
  • Accompany clients on test drives
  • Presenting quotes to customers
  • Follow up with perspective and sold customers being guided by our sales process

  • Aggressive commission based pay plan with guarantee for the first year

  • Flexible shifts with 1 day off during the week (must be available Saturdays)
